Our sixth graders are traveling the world through song! In chorus with Miss Norton, students are learning songs from different cultures and countries while discovering how music can connect us all. What a wonderful way to celebrate both music and the world around us!
Middle School Spartan Shout-outs are one way we love to recognize students for doing good deeds and displaying great behavior! We can't wait to keep handing out these awards as the year continues.
During the first weeks of school, our middle school band students have had the opportunity to try new instruments! In sixth grade, they are currently selecting their instrument, and in seventh and eighth grade, they tried some of the other woodwind instruments like the oboe and bass clarinet.

Scituate Middle School Field Day was tons of fun! Students enjoyed a giant bouncy house, volleyball, frisbee, and many other games. It was a great way to spend the day after all of their hard work this school year.
Yesterday, our elementary students (soon to be middle school students) had the opportunity to explore Scituate Middle and High School during our middle school Open House! Students were introduced to teachers and staff, played an icebreaker game, and enjoyed touring the school with teachers. We can't wait to see you all in the hallways again in the fall!

We are proud to share that Scituate Middle School has been recognized as a Project ADAM Heart Safe School. This designation reflects our ongoing commitment to student and staff safety through preparedness, CPR/AED training, and emergency response planning. October is National Principals Month, and we have some of the best around at the Scituate School Department! Our principals go above and beyond for our students every day, making sure our students are experiencing engaging learning and feel safe and supported in their environments, all while supporting our educators and staff so that they can create the best classroom experiences for our students. We are so grateful to have them working hard in our schools.
